Don't forget to mark your calendars for our final 15th Anniversary Concert at Old St Pat's Church on October 21 at 12:45pm in OSP's Fellowship Hall, 625 W. Adams St.
It has been a whirlwind of a 15th year! So far, the ensemble has given three beautiful concerts to commemorate our 15th year as a non-profit organization. In planning these concerts, we imagined blanketing the city (and more) with our music! So, we created concerts in the four corners of Chicagoland.
South: Our first concert was at Mercy Circle back in February. It was a packed house and we sang many Harmony, Hope & Healing hits!
West: The second concert, hosted by the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph, was an exciting collaboration between the HHH ensemble, members of several western suburb choirs led by Anna Belle O'Shea, and composer Sr. Kathy Sherman, CSJ. We had over 40 singers performing our favorites, like "There's Hope" and "Bambelela", as well as many beautiful pieces composed by Sr. Kathy Sherman. Click here to see the photo gallery!
North: Our third concert was an intimate event in the chapel of St. Anne's Catholic Community, hosted by our board president, Sandy Kraimer. Our opening piece, "Now," was written by Rory Cooney, the music director of St. Anne's and a distinguished composer of liturgical music.
East: On October 21, directly after the 11:15 mass, we will present our final 15th anniversary concert in Old St. Pat's new space called Fellowship Hall. We will be joined by members of the OSP choir and the concert will feature performances by member of Adams on Broadway and more! There will be a reception after the concert, with plenty of time to eat, mingle and meet our singers!
We appreciate everyone that has joined us at one (or more!) of our concerts. Thank you for sharing in our music and our mission. We hope to see you soon!
