Voices for Hope & Home: Atlanta Homeward Choir visits Chicago!

Updated: Dec 7, 2018

In just two short weeks, the Atlanta Homeward Choir will be arriving in Chicago! Our choirs have been hard at work rehearsing for our joint events on Tuesday, December 18th: a Noontime Holiday Concert at the Daley Center Plaza and the Homeless Persons' Memorial at Old St. Pat's Church.

The Noontime Concert will feature holiday favorites likes Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, old favorites like Let it Be and This Little Light of Mine, and soloists from both choirs!

The Homeless Persons' Memorial, at Old St. Pat's Church, honors and remembers all those who have died on the streets of our nation as a result of homelessness. This event is part of a the National Homeless Persons' Memorial Day. This is a very meaningful event for both our organizations because our choirs consist of individuals who have been affected by homelessness. We hope that our cross-country collaboration brings more awareness to the issues that people face while experiencing homelessness.
